If you are looking for something suitable for the family, check out the Sargent's Ponds Trails, which are fairly level and great for all ages! For a little more of a challenge check out the Northville Lake Placid Trail which offers steeper, much more strenuous climbs recommended only for experts! If you don't have your own cross-country ski equipment, head to Hoss's Country Corner where you can find rentals!

Geiger Arena, in Mt. Sabattis Park, offers some fun winter family activities. Their well-maintained skating rink offers free skating as well as free skate rentals on a first-come, first-served basis!  The skating rink is open Thursday through Monday, but the hours can vary, so be sure to check their website! During holiday weeks, the rink is open every day. Another popular family activity that is offered at Mt. Sabattis Park is sledding. There is a large hill open to the public with some sleds and tubes available for use from the skating rink attendant. If you are looking for a way to tucker out your little ones, all the hiking to the top of the hill will do the trick!
