Here, the fishing is superb! Two-year old brown and brook trout are stocked in the South Branch, West Canada Creek in the waters downstream from the Floe. Above the Floe, wild brook trout can be found. Canoe fishing is available below the Floe, as well as wading. 

How to get there

Several roads lead to the river from the northern side of Route 8; one between Hoffmeister and Morehouse, and one in Morehouse.
