Payne's Air Service, located on Route 28 adjacent to Seventh Lake, provides vacationers with a bird's eye view of this portion of the Adirondacks. We fly on demand, so reservations are not necessary. Our rides are 15 minutes in the air — you are gone from the dock for about 20 minutes. Our planes carry up to five people. In addition to scenic tours, we offer charters and fly-ins for hunting, fishing, or camping trips.

Licensed outdoor guide services can ensure a satisfying, safe Adirondack experience. Consider hiring a licensed guide to teach you about flora and fauna or map and compass skills, or to set up your backcountry camp. You may also hire a guide for a day boating out on the water, for fishing and hunting or in the winter backcountry skiing and snowmobiling. Many have special expertise, and some rent equipment.
The Hudson River Gorge provides an exciting and beautiful whitewater rafting experience through 17 miles of nearly continuous rapids. Our day trip combines wild river thrills with tremendous natural beauty: untouched waterfalls, mountains, and the spectacular sights of Blue Ledges, the Narrows, and more.
