Snake Pond

This short hike, a seldom used trail along Twitchell Creek, brings you to a very attractive back-country pond. Once on the trail you will start a gentle descent that won't end until you have reached the pond. It is tough to see the actual pond out over Twitchell Creek, but a nice spot none-the-less.

Location

From the intersection of Route 28 and Big Moose Road in Inlet, follow Big Moose Road. Continue on Big Moose Road to Twitchell Road and follow it for just over a mile to the trailhead on the left

Distance

1 mile

It only takes a couple of hours to complete this hike.
