Directions:
From the intersection of Route 28 and Route 30 in Indian Lake follow Route 28/30 toward Blue Mountain Lake. Continue for just over 2.25 miles and turn left on Cedar River Road. Follow that for 11.3 miles to the pond and the Northville/Placid Trail on the right. There is limited parking here.
Shoreline Fishing:
There is ample access to the shore from Cedar River Road and via short spur trails from the Northville/Placid Trail on the northeast side.
Boat Access:
Only canoes and kayaks are permitted at this primitive boat launch.
Insider Information:
- Wakely Pond might not have an abundance of large fish, but it does have a solid quantity to catch.
- This pond's popularity lies in the easy canoe access and the seclusion it offers anglers.
