There are three public campgrounds on Piseco Lake, each with a hard surface boat launch. The boat launches are off of Rt. 8, west of the hamlet of Piseco. Poplar Point State Campground is 2 miles west of Piseco, Little Sand Point State Campground is 3 miles west of Piseco, and Point Comfort State Campground is 4 miles west of Piseco.

Piseco Lake has the following non-native invasive species present in the waterbody:
