True Stories from Adirondack Farms & Farmers
As with everything in the Adirondacks, this is a time of change for regional farmers. Climate change is affecting the growing season and the foods that are available, and economic issues threaten small farmers. At the same time, the demand for local foods and recognition of farmers markets as community hubs is extraordinary. Please join us for a moderated evening panel discussion showcasing Adirondack farmers and metaphorically walking their fields with them. The panel program is free for all (donations welcome).
After the program, ADKX’s own Chef Katrina Calhoun will prepare a splendid dinner featuring the ingredients of these farmers. You won’t want to miss this fantastic Farm-to-Table culinary experience! Tickets are limited, so buy yours today!
