Join us for Paws in the Peaks Festival, a one-of-a-kind event benefiting local animal shelters.

The day kicks off with our exciting Inflatable Costume Parade through the streets of Inlet! Whether you're rocking an inflatable dinosaur, unicorn, alien, or creating your own masterpiece, come dressed to impress. Awards will be given for:

• Most Creative Costume

• Best Group Costume

• Funniest Costume

• Best Owner & Pet Duo

The parade will start at Arrowhead Park at noon and conclude at Fern Park, where the celebration continues with:

• Music

• Food & Beverages

• Kids Activities

• Photo Opportunities

• Raffles & Prizes

• Adoptable Pets

• Vendors & Community Organizations

• Rescue Wall featuring rescued pets

This is a community event designed for all ages - whether you're a dog lover, outdoor enthusiast, local resident, or just looking for a fun summer afternoon in the Adirondacks.

• Mountain House Kettle Corn - fresh popped kettle corn

• Inlet Area Business Association - hot dogs, chips, sodas & waters

• Refresh & Renew - permanent jewelry, dog bandanas with patches and patch bar

• Maple Moss Sugarworks - Adirondack maple syrup

• Dire Deals - handmade wood signs, cutting boards and more

• Martin’s Menagerie - Handmade pet items - leashes, toys, blankets, bandanas & collars, paracord bracelets & keychains. Laser engraved coasters & garden stakes, laser cut ornaments & earrings

• Martin’s Nailhouse - Color Street nail strips, hand products, makeup & lip products

• Tails of Long Lake - dog/cat toys, treats, gear, some gifts for dog lovers

• Under the Sun Wellness - yoga information, second hand clothing, all natural bug sprays, homemade jewelry, essential oils / car fresheners

• Gold Vine Designs - luxury home fragrance products

• Boliver’s Silversmith - hand made chains, rings, bracelets, anklets, earrings. I also weave mini baskets

• What Would My Dog Do -

• The Caregiver Support Initiative - non-profit caregiver support program; will provide access to free support services and education for persons caring for individuals with cognitive decline

• Spirit Animal Sanctuary - sanctuary for animals to live out the remainder of their lives

• Lewis County Humane Society - dogs/cats for adoption, as well as clothing fundraiser, raffles

• Health with Haley - grass fed tallow balm (natural skincare), personal training and nutrition coaching for women
