Cross-Country Skiing - *3/12/21 Warmer weather makes it unadvisable to ski at Inlet Golf Club. Fern Park is pretty soft, but might firm up over the weekend with the colder temperatures predicted. Please stay on the groomed trails, and please NO SNOWMOBILES. *The pavilion at Fern Park (warming room and restrooms) is open. Check the webcam and look for the banner on the wall that shows if the ice rink is OPEN or CLOSED.
Inlet is on the cutting edge for traditional and skate skiing, offering miles of free, groomed trails at Fern Park, Inlet Golf Club, and Limekiln Lake Campground. Fern Park has 22 kilometers of marked, groomed trails with some challenging climbs and descents, 2 kilometers of which are lighted until 10 p.m. for night skiing.
The Inlet Golf Club and Limekiln Lake Campground offer about 3.5 kilometers of skate and traditional trails at each location. There are also some great ski touring trails around Moss Lake and Cascade Lake. Many of the summer hiking trails are also available to ski in the Inlet area.
Snowshoeing
There are miles of trails for all abilities of snowshoers available in the Inlet area. Snowshoe mountain trails with a vista or choose wooded, long-distance treks for the whole family.
